I have been busy at work so I haven't been able to visit in a few days. The following things have been on my mind...

1.) Why do people insist on saying the Occupy movement(s) do not have a message. They have a flippin message...Things suck the way they are and we need to change them. Pretty straight forward and simple. How is that not a message. As for the goals...well I would say their main goal is to bring attention to the huge discrepancies in this country. For example simple pot possession or some other non violent crime will get you jail time but robbing people of millions of dollars under the guise of investing gets you a huge bonus at the end of the year. I would say that is a pretty fucked up system

2.) The republican candidates for president are cracking me up! Perry is a newer more handsome version of W Bush, without the massive/corrupt political ties. Romney, as so eloquently pointed out by Jon Stewart is in the midst of an identity crisis - see Webster's dictionary "Flip Flopping". Herman Cain, well he wrote an auto biography that ends with him living in the White House. So what is it Cain a biography or a fiction novel? And Bachmann - well she has shown her crazy so many time its now become just sad.

3.) October, November, and December may quite possibly be the most expensive months in the year. Travel, gifts, travel...you get the picture.

4.) I am getting gray hairs from the World Series!

While these things have been spinning round my head I really don't have much else to say about them. Just wanted to spit them out to make room for more, hopefully, pleasant topics.

Oh My G-D! fuck fuck fuck fuck stupid fucking greedy fucking morons. Wah, "There's another way we can revive the economy without raising taxes" wahh wahhh wahhh. Are you really fucking serious??? Okay excuse all the profanity but I am really at my wits end here. Shit raise taxes on ME I don't care. I just want this craziness to end. This is madness. Do you really think that we will ever clean up - or even just make a dent in the deficit - if we don't bring in any money. And the more people that are unemployed the less taxes are being paid. Okay look I totally suck at math but even I realize that you can't promise someone $10 worth of bananas when you only have $5 to spend. And if you are able to borrow the $5 that you need to fulfill your promise you still owe someone $5!!!!!! It's really quite simple. All this political rig amoral is really just a bunch of winking and nodding across the aisle of the House and Senate. "Look at me I have an important position with some multibillion dollar company I have to protect their interests to keep my job. Oh wait, you have one too? Well we better team up to protect ourselves." We are the greatest nation in the world and our citizens have elected the biggest greediest life sucking bastards in the world. Get them out of our government!!!!! Like YESTERDAY!!!!!!!! okay that is all for the daily rant. GAHHHH Just saw the Footloose trailer again. Pisses me off now I want to go watch THE Footloose to get it out of my head! What is wrong with Hollywood.

Ack. So Occupy Wall Street is un-American? I respect Cain's right to say that b/c he is entitled to his own opinion but really I have to address this. Un-American? Forming a non violent protest to bring attention to the plight of citizens is really Un-American yeah right. So I guess all those crazy Revolutionaries back in the 1700's were Un-American for protesting unfair tariffs and taxes levied to fill the coffers of the European monarchy.
I must admit I am truly fascinated with this movement. There is an Occupy ----- right next to my bus stop. I see them every night and think "Good for you" Really though I am not nearly brave enough to join them. I support their principle for the action but I don't think they are cohesive enough to bring forward a true movement. But hey if they make one person walking by stop and think about the ridiculous political system we have then in my book they have succeeded.
Speaking of filling coffers I have to give a shout out to the Colbert Report which is shedding some harsh glaring light on fundraising for politicians. Wow really great campaign reform we have in place in the US. You can drive a fucking FLEET of freight trains (do those travel in fleets?) through the loops left to avoid the laws. First it was the PAC -thank you Sarah Palin for bastardizing this beyond belief - now it the is the 501(c)(4) I am seriously disillusioned with our country. The whole fucking thing is insanity. I know I sound liberal and contrite but I don't know of a better way to describe the revulsion inside. We are plummeting down a slippery slope, shit forget slope we are riding a damn avalanche down the side of frickin Mt. Everest.

Okay I am starting to feel sick from thinking about this. Time for a break. BTW in case you haven't noticed I am giving a big middle finger to the man and not using code anymore. I figure they already have all our info anyway so I am probably not fooling anyway. And also I went back to read a post and had NO FUCKING CLUE what I was talking about ha!
